After a thrilling final weekend of the MLB season, all the dust has settled and the American League Wild Card matchup is…. The Yankees and Red Sox. Again. Of Course.


It took all of the 162 games to decide the playoff seeds in Major League Baseball, but we find ourselves looking at an extremely familiar matchup: The Yankees and Red Sox in a one game, winner take all to decide who advances to the ALDS in Tampa.


The Yankees turn to Gerrit Cole tonight on the mound because hey, that’s why you pay someone $36 million dollars a year. He has struggled down the stretch and has an ERA just below 5 in four starts against Boston.


The Red Sox come into this one the hotter team, having won 3 straight to clinch their spot, and starter Nathan Eovaldi was pretty good this year in 6 starts against the Yankees.


We’ll trust the recent numbers in this one, take the Red Sox to win +105, and expect lots of runs and lots of drama, over 8.0 runs, -105
