Time to panic for the U.S. Men’s Basketball team?

Okay, France knocking the USA’s 25-game Olympic win streak isn’t the end of the world…but it’s certainly noteworthy!

The Americans had a seven-point lead with three-and-a-half minutes left in the game, and then missed ALL of their last nine shots…allowing France to end on a 16-2 run and snatch the W.

‍

Now perhaps the most concerning part for the USA is that they only scored 76-points, their fewest at the Olympics since their last loss in ‘04…and it’s ultimately the result of poor shot-making.

‍

Durant, Lillard and Lavine scored a combined 29-points on 25% shooting…Evan Fournier had 28 for France on his own!

‍

The upside is that their next game is against Iran…a matchup that should settle things down for the U.S. and allow them an opportunity to find their rhythm on offence.
