NHL Picks | The Dallas Stars try to re-discover their Stanley Cup form in New York

The pucks have dropped and we’re back on the ice for another NHL season, there’s plenty of value to be found as we get our first looks at this year’s teams.

We’ve officially begun a new NHL season, as 14 teams have kicked off their schedule this week.

Tonight another couple of handfuls of teams get to hit the ice for the first time on Thursday night. 

After a bit of a step back in last year’s realigned NHL season, the Dallas Stars are hoping to get back to the form that saw them make a Stanley Cup Final run two seasons ago.

In their first game of the year they get a matchup on the road against the New York Rangers, who are playing on back-to-back nights after being blown out by the Capitals on Wednesday.
