The biggest week lies ahead for Manchester United
It was a challenging weekend for both James and Sara. The unpredictability in the Premier League kept everyone on their toes.
Sara remains in first place, maintaining her lead over Albert. I find myself once again in third place. Surprisingly, Sara and I had identical results this week. The matches were tough to predict, filled with unexpected outcomes.
Man, those games were difficult to call, with so many surprises. However, one particular match caught our attention. Was it truly a surprise, considering all factors?
Sara finds herself myself making the same mistake again—placing faith in Manchester United against Bournemouth. This match was one of the few where I considered the possibility of an upset. Unfortunately, Sara's predictions went the opposite way. She believed United could secure a win at Old Trafford, given their need for a victory and occasional glimpses of cohesion. Alas, it did not go as planned.
Scott McTominay, as mentioned earlier in the show, was on fire. Yet, the outcome proved that backing United was a mistake. Lesson learned, James – do not back United, and the same goes for Chelsea. Despite not backing Chelsea, Sara's choice to support United turned out to be regrettable.
Moving forward, I'm inclined to support Aston Villa more often. Their outstanding performance against Arsenal caught my attention. While James initially picked Arsenal to win, Villa was exceptional. They have now won 15 straight home games and defeated City last week. Although they are not currently in the first position, their home record this season is unmatched. However, they need to improve their away form. This Villa team, under Unai Emery, has the potential to contend for the title, even though it's still the middle of December.
