The Winnipeg Jets didn’t come here to make friends, the Manitoba club’s reputation as one of the toughest teams to play in hockey has been backed up lately, as goals, hits, and fists have been flying in equal measure in the past few games. They’ve been especially tough at home, and are 5-2 in their last 7 games on home ice to go with a 4-1 record in their last five games overall.

On Tuesday night it’s the Carolina Hurricanes heading up to the Peg to take on the Jets. The Canes are in a bit of a rut right now, just 2-5 in their last 7 games but could use the road trip, as they are 9-4 in their last 13 games on the road.

Let’s take the Storm Surge to head into frosty Manitoba and turn things around, take the Hurricanes on the moneyline at -110, and the over 5.5 goals -120.
