Raptors host Morant-less Grizzlies at Scotiabank Arena | Toronto Today

Last week, Gary Trent Jr. led the Raptors to a 13-point comeback win over the Grizzlies, and Toronto is hoping that the fourth-year guard can return from a calf injury tonight.

The Raptors enter the game as three-and-a-half point favourites over Memphis, despite the Grizzlies sitting in a playoff position.  

They’ll be without star Ja Morant who suffered a knee injury on Friday but will look for a spark from Canadian-born players Dillon Brooks and Brandon Clarke.

Toronto has dropped four in a row at home and in the midst of a season-high seven straight at Scotiabank Arena.

If Trent Jr. misses the game, consider Fred VanVleet’s 18.5-point player prop as a lock to go over.

And the Maple Leafs will hit the ice for practice today after their west coast trip and will put their four-game streak on the line against Colorado tomorrow in a potential Stanley Cup preview.
