Jessica Pegula vs. Anastasia Potapova @ 6 p.m. ET: Tennis Channel, TVA Sports, TSN2

World No. 3 Jessica Pegula doesn't have far to travel as she prepares for tonight’s Miami Open semi-final against Russia’s Anastasia Potapova.

The 29 year old Florida native lives just a 30 minute drive from the Hard Rock Stadium and she’ll be hoping to cash in on that home advantage and power into the semi-finals of the competition.

American No. 1 Pegula arrives in tonight's clash having racked up three straight set victories at the Miami Open, seeing off Canada’s Katherine Sebov, compatriot Danielle Collins and Poland’s Magda Linette.

Anastasia Potapova has had somewhat of a mixed season with a 15-7 record so far. The World No. 26 had to work hard against Coco Gauff in the second round, but she powered through the quarter-finals, making light work of China’s Qinwen Zheng.

Pegula is 3-0 up in the head-to-head record, winning in straight sets when they met just two weeks ago at Indian Wells.

The American has only reached one final so far in 2023, can she make it two in Miami tonight?

The Programme Pick: Pegula in straight sets (+100)

Arsenal Women vs. Bayern Women @ 2 p.m. ET Wednesday: DAZN

Arsenal and Bayern will kick off the second leg of their UEFA Women's Champions League quarter final on Wednesday.

The Germans hold a narrow lead coming into tomorrow night’s tie, after Lea Schuller's 39th-minute strike secured the Bundesliga side a 1-0 win in front of their home fans last week.

Bayern Munich followed that up with a massive domestic win on the weekend, with Georgia Stanway’s solitary goal enough for the home side to leapfrog Wolfsburg and reclaim the Bundesliga top spot.

Arsenal bounced back from their midweek UCL defeat with a commanding win in the north London derby, beating Tottenham by an impressive 5-1 scoreline to cement 4th place in the FA Women’s Super League table.

Tomorrow ties are delicately balanced but Bayern come in as the stronger side. The German league leaders have racked up a 15 game hot streak in all competitions and have kept a clean sheet in nine of their last ten outings. They’ve also scored at least twice in each of their last six away games.

The Programme Pick: Bayern Munich moneyline (+187)

2023 Canadian Swimming Trials @ Tuesday & Wednesday: CBC Sports

For the first time since 2019 fans will once again usher into the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre to enjoy Swimming Canada's main annual event, the national trials.

Kicking off this morning, the six-day competition will select the teams for the world junior swimming championships, the world para swimming championships, the world aquatics championships AND the Pan Am Games.

Once again, much of the focus will centre on 16-year-old Summer McIntosh who made her Olympic debut at just 14 years old and is already a two-time world champion, as well as claiming six podium finishes at last year’s Commonwealth Games.

McIntosh has been in training camp in Florida for the last year, so expect her to literally blow more records out of the water this week.
