NHL Picks | Brock Boeser should give Canucks a leg up over Buffalo
The opening week of the NHL season is a space for strange things to happen. The Sabres are undefeated, last year’s Cup Finalists can’t buy a win, the Leafs look unimpressive… okay some things aren’t so strange.
A pair of Canadian teams in position to pick up some wins Tuesday night. First, it’s the Vancouver Canucks on the road in Buffalo to take on the 2-0 Sabres. Brock Boeser is expected to be back in the lineup and should give Vancouver the edge to hand Buffalo their first L of the year.
Speaking of L’s, the Montreal Canadiens have started the season 0-3 with just 3 goals scored. They have a great opportunity to rectify that at home against the San Jose Sharks.
We’ll take the Canucks to win on the road -160, and grab the Canadiens to beat the Sharks -150. Parley them together for a tidy all-Canadian +170.
