What’s on the line in the battle of the Brads this afternoon? Only first place in the standings at the Tim Hortons Curling Trials.
One of the most anticipated matchups of the round robin is coming up in Saskatoon, pitting the 2006 Olympic gold medalist Team Gushue against the 2014 Olympic champion Team Jacobs.
Each rink is a perfect 3-0 entering today, and the winner will move temporarily at least to 1st place in the standings.
At the 2017 trials, it was Brad Jacobs’ rink upsetting Brad Gushue’s Newfoundland squad 7-4, one of just three wins that Team Jacobs picked up.
Both rinks having their sights set on Beijing, but I’m going with:
