Mariners look to continue surprise surge towards a playoff spot in crucial series against Red Sox

The American League Wild Card race is still wide open with two and a half weeks left in the season.

The Seattle Mariners are on the outside looking in, two games back of the Boston Red Sox, who just so happen to be in Seattle this week for a crucial September series. 

The Sox are still dealing with an outbreak of COVID that has effected half their roster, while the Mariners continue to defy the odds in this season nobody saw coming.
