Maple Leafs could have a feeding frenzy in San Jose

Throw on a pot of coffee tonight, the Maple Leafs west coast road trip continues with a visit to the shark tank in San Jose.

The Leafs are one of the hottest teams in hockey, having won eight of their last ten games. The big money stars have been leading the way, with Tavares, Matthews, Marner, and Nylander all jostling for the team lead in points. 

Any seasoned Leafs fan has learned to live with the feeling that disaster is never more than a moment away, and no matter how good they look at any given point, it only takes 20 tough minutes for the memories to come flooding back and anxiety to kick in. 

The latest road trip finds them face to face with the San Jose Sharks. The fins are coming off back to back wins but ultimately have floundered around as a .500 team this year.
