Dubai Open: Leylah Fernandez vs. Iga Swiatek

At the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships this morning Canada’s Leylah Fernandez faces one of the biggest matches of her career, as she takes on World No.1 Iga Swiatek in a huge round two matchup.

Fernandez defeated Julia Grabher in straight sets to win her opening match of the tournament, and the 20 year old will need to put in a near perfect performance to progress to the next round in Dubai.

Swiatek suffered a fourth round exit at the Australian Open in Melbourne last month. But the teenage champion bounced back in style to successfully defend her Qatar Open title, dropping only five games throughout the tournament, and blitzing No.2 seed Jessica Pegula in straight sets in the final.

The head to head record is 1-0 in Swiatek favour, but could Fernandez pull off a surprise victory this morning? You can follow all the action from 10 a.m. ET on DAZN, Tennis Channel, and TVA Sports.

ICC Women's T20 Cricket World Cup: South Africa vs. Bangladesh

In the final game before the knockout stage of the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup, South Africa will take on Bangladesh in a must win match in Group A.

Bangladesh are playing for pride, having failed to win a single match in this year’s tournament and finding themselves rooted to the bottom of the table.

But fourth placed South Africa know a win today will be enough to power them into the semifinals.

The upshot here is that there will be ZERO pressure on the Bangladeshis and CRAZY pressure on the South Africans - so this matchup could be one of the most exciting games of the tournament so far.

You can follow the game on ESPN+ from 11:50 a.m. ET.
