In desperate playoff hunt, Oakland look to avoid falling out of AL playoff pictures versus Seattle

What an odd schedule for the Oakland A’s down the stretch!

They have interchanging series against Seattle and Houston until the end of the year. So they better like playing their divisional foes!

So far, Seattle seems to be playing spoiler against Oakland, who are three games back of the Blue Jays for the final wild card spot.

They beat them 5-2, in a game which saw a two-run triple from Dylan Mooreserve as the difference. 

To avoid a total catastrophe… the A’s need a win NOW.

Cole Irvin and his team-leading 13 losses looks to avoid tying the AL lead in losses … and he goes up against a Mariners team that has stung together some hits lately.

Guys like JP Crawford and Kyle Seager like the spoiler role, apparently. 

They have brought it to Oakland … Crawford went 3-for-5 with an RBI last night. 

The Mariners are the underdogs, and I like them tonight to play spoiler at +115.
