The saying goes, people will steal anything...

Here are five things from sports this week in case you missed it.

Number 1.

When you're at battle, the last thing you want is for your attack plan, the cherished document, to be in the hands of your enemy.

Well... The Toronto Blue Jays had some bad luck this week.

The game plan against opposing hitters might be leaked.

In a blow out loss that had the Jays drop the series to the Tampa Bay Rays, Kevin Kiermaier picked up a scouting card that fell off the wristband of catcher Alejandro Kirk during a play at the plate.

After realizing it wasn't his team's card, he still didn't give it back.

The following game, Ryan Borucki hit Kiermaier in the back with a pitch in the eighth inning.

Ouu! The drama!

Number 2.

In case you missed it, cute dog alert!

During a minor league baseball game, Buffalo's bat dog, Rookie, looked ready to pitch as he ran to the mound and interrupted the game.

Rookie took to Twitter later to apologize to Cavan Biggio for interrupting his at-bat.

Number 3.

In case you missed it, I’m thinking this Green Bay Packers coach may be under some concussion protocol.

After a stop on a fourth down against the Lions, these two were hyped.

Hey… Sometimes happiness equals pain.

Number 4.

Turning over to basketball...

WNBA Playoffs tipped off last night and it was nothing short of entertaining.

Now if you had bet on the underdog New York Liberty last night, it almost seemed like a nice payout was coming your way.

But, Phoenix's Brianna Turner finished the deal with a free throw that had the Mercury take this game by a single point.

And if any of you Liberty lovers had them winning it all...

To your bank account, I sincerely apologize.

But they were ranked last to win at +15000, so don't say I didn't tell ya.

Number 5.

In case you missed it.

In the Ben Simmons where-will-he-go saga, Steve A. Smith had some GM advice for the Brooklyn Nets.

He said the Nets should have considered trading Kyrie Irving for Simmons if they want to win a three-peat championship.

Hmm...

Some odds tell us the Minnesota Timeberwoves are the favourites as the next team for the small forward at +400.

Let us know in the comments where you think Simmons will end up.
