It is an eventful weekend of women’s sports and when it’s so jam-packed, I can’t do it alone. That’s why Sofia and I have got you covered on picks this weekend; starting off with soccer.

Manchester City and Aston Villa face-off in the sole match of the FA WSL this Saturday.

Villa is coming off of a 1-nil victory over Birmingham City and Man City is coming off of an embarrassing 4-nil loss to Chelsea this past week.

In a game that saw a fairly equal possession battle, City just could not convert.

But, we’re feeling a bounceback win this weekend and picking Man City to grab these three points on the moneyline at -2000.

Now let’s move onto the ice for some Premier Hockey Federation.

The Toronto Six are taking on the Connecticut Whale in this weekend’s double header.

Last time these teams met, the Whale were under water gasping for air as the Six claimed its first win with a 6-0 shutout.

This newly constructed Connecticut team, with the likes of Taylor Girard, are doing everything in their power to show they want nothing less than the Isobel Cup.

We’re sticking with an even weekend and calling both a Toronto win tomorrow and a Connecticut W on Sunday.

Now UFC Fight Night looks exciting!!!

She might be the underdog on Saturday, but Miesha Tate is our pick.

She makes her second octagon appearance in over five years against Ketlen Vieira on Saturday in the UFC Vegas 43 main event.

After a TKO win over Marion Reneau at UFC Vegas 31, Tate’s record is a solid 19-7.

Viera is only a -120 favourite here and after her three-round unanimous decision L at UFC Vegas 19, you can bet both sides will be going at it.

But, we’re taking the underdog for this.

So to recap, here are our picks.

We’re picking Manchester City at -2000, the Toronto Six at +104 and the Connecticut Whale at +150, and for Fight Night, we’re taking Miesha Tate at +100.
