Possession and chances galore are one thing - finding that all important goal is another - welcome back to another EPL Parlay!

Crystal Palace are looking better and better under new manager Patrick Viera, and the Eagles put on a great showing against Newcastle - dominating the game for long spells on Saturday.

We’d picked Palace to win at +100 and striker Christian Benteke had a whole host of clear chances - thanks to great build up play through the 90 mins by Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher.

Benteke scored a fine header, and had a second rule out by V.A.R. But after Newcastle striker Calum Wilson scored an acrobatic equalizer - very much against the run of play - Patrick Viera’s team took away only one point from a game they controlled - for the second week running.

In Brentford v Leicester (graphic: logos), we’d picked the Bees to win at +175 - and it was the same story here.

Brentford had more shots, more possession, more passes, AND greater pass accuracy - and they even responded well after going behind to Youri Tielemans’ insanely well hit goal.

But with playmaker James Maddison looking back to his best, and with Kelechi Iheanacho in the form of his life - Brentford only needed to make one mistake to get punished - which is exactly what their highline provided late in the second half.

Leicester ran out winners on the day - and in Tielemans in particular they have a rampaging box-box midfielder who scores goals AND makes crunching tackles - which is guess what? -  EXACTLY what poor old Man Utd are missing.

Liverpool to win at Old Trafford (graphic - logos) was about as safe as it gets at +120, but their 5-0 defeat of a woeful Man Utd side was about as bad as it gets for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team.

There will be many recriminations in the coming days but the main issue was this - what manager in the world would send out McTominay and Fred to face a midfield three of Henderson, Milner and Keita? Especially when the Mc-Fred combo has consistently drawn blanks against far weaker opposition?

Liverpool oozed class, poise, and ruthlessness - whereas Man Utd looks shell-shocked, hopeless, and clueless.

This weekend Man Utd travel to London to face Tottenham Hotspur and even though Spurs lack the attacking guile and cohesion of Liverpool, they have enough of a midfield to trouble this depressed Utd side.

So combining that with two clearer favourites rites, here’s my three team moneyline parlay for this week's EPL fixtures:

  • Take Tottenham to beat Man Utd at +180
  • Take Chesea to beat Newcastle at -300
  • And take Man City to beat Crystal Palace at -600
  • For a +335 parlay
