With the elimination rounds of WNBA postseason over, we can all take a deep breath and allow for our emotional stability to get back intact as we get set forThe semi-finals!

It was double trouble Sunday night, as we saw both lower seeded teams pull the upset to advance to the WNBA semifinals.

The Phoenix Mercury took down the reigning champs, Seattle Storm, in OT and the Chicago Sky stunned the Minnesota Lynx.

For all of us wondering if Diana Taurasi's ankle would sit her out…  It didn’t.

And she was monstrous down the stretch, hitting a tying three, a step-back jumper and a free throw to help Phoenix take this one.

In a double-double that saw Brittney Griner lead the team with 23 points, Griner also recorded a new playoff career-high... 16 boards.

The Mercury's starting five were absolutely killin' it, scoring 81 of their team's 85 points.

And as if our hearts weren't already heavy from these single-game elimination rounds, Storm fans, with Taurasi's encouragement, chanted "one more year" for Sue Bird after the loss, nearly bringing her to tears.

The two even swapped jerseys post game.

Bird has been signing single-year contracts in recent seasons, so we can't help but wonder if this will be the last time that we'll see these two basketball greats share the court.

Phoenix now gets set to take on the Las Vegas Aces in the best-of-five series.

The stage is also set for the first-seeded Connecticut Sun to take on the Chicago Sky.

Courtney Vandersloot and Khaleah Copper were having themselves a game on Sunday, combining for 35 points, 15 rebounds, and nine assists.

Though Candace Parker may have had more of a quiet game, she is just so omnipresent, so you can bet the Sun will have their eyes on her.

And because of the Sky's momentum I think I'll stick with the underdog for Game 1 of this series and play it safe for the other.

Picks:

Take the Sky to win on the moneyline at (+250).

Take the Aces to win on the moneyline at (-240).
