Canucks desperate for points against the surging Avalanche

 If you ask Vancouver hockey fans, the sky has been falling on Travis Green and the Canucks for the last week, but it could get much worse tonight against the Avalanche.

Vancouver has been outscored 22-8 on its current four-game slide andwill host a Colorado team that has 13 goals in two games.

Despite Nathan MacKinnon being out of the lineup, the Avs finally look to be getting on track, and are poised to inch closer to a wild card spot tonight.
