Buds or Bolts -- Who’s Streak Ends Tonight?

The tide is turning for the Leafs -- they’ve won three-in-row, the offence is clicking, and Jack Campbell is fresh off his first shutout of the season!

But...if we’re going to keep it all the way real...they didn’t exactly face the toughest competition during this run. The combined record of their last three opponents is 9-17-4.

To be fair, the competition during the Bolts win streak wasn’t much better.

The concern for the Leafs is that they’re 0-5 in their last five games against teams with winning records. In order to be taken seriously as a contender, they have to come out on the winning side in these matchups.

Unfortunately, the Lightning seem to have shaken off the championship rust...and they’re now back to their winning ways.

So, here are my picks:

• Parlay Tampa covering +1.5 with under 6.5 goals at +135
• And take Steven Stamkos to light the lamp at +165
