It’s Championship Sunday at the Canadian Curling Olympic Trials in Saskatoon.

After a week filled with exciting curling, Canadians will find out who will be representing Team Canada on the ice at the Beijing 2022 Olympics.

With so much on the line, here is my best bet for Championship Sunday at the Trials.

The men’s final is another edition of the Battle of the Brads.

Brad Gushue from Newfoundland earned a bye to the final with a 7-1 record in the round robin.

Brad Jacobs from Sault Ste. Marie had to go through the semifinal to get to the final, defeating Kevin Koe 8-3.

Gushue and Jacobs have built quite a rivalry over the years.

Sunday will be their 57th meeting, with Gushue holding a 29-27 advantage.

Gushue defeated Jacobs 7-6 in the round robin, earning the winning point in extra ends.

Whenever these two teams play, it’s going to be close.

Both teams won’t afraid to be patient early and willing to capitalize on opportunities their opponent presents them.

In this Olympic cycle, there hasn’t been anyone better than Brad Gushue (photo #6).

Two Briers, a gold and a silver at the World Championship and three Grand Slam titles.

A Brad will be going to the Olympics that’s guaranteed. But I like Gushue to pull out the win currently betting at -132.

Enjoy curling fans.
