Two nights ago, Harrison Barnes and the Sacramento Kings dropped the defending Western Conference champions on a buzzer-beater three in Phoenix. Can they continue their success on Friday in New Orleans?

For a franchise that hasn’t made a playoff appearance since Steve Nash was the Association’s Most Valuable Player, the Sacramento Kings have come out swinging to start the 2021-22 season.

Wins over the Blazers and Suns have them 2-2, but close losses to the Jazz and Warriors mask how good this team has been.

Heading into Friday’s game in New Orleans, Harrison Barnes is averaging 26.8 points per game along with 10 rebounds and is quietly becoming a must-watch player each night.

At the other end of the floor, it’s tough to imagine a more frustrating start for the Pelicans who are still missing star forward Zion Williamson.

New Orleans’ lone win came in a home-and-home with Minnesota, and they have the fifth worst field goal percentage in the NBA.

The spread favours the Kings by only two, but don’t worry, that’ll be your weekend going out fund.

Here’s my pick:

·    Take Sacramento -2 on the spread

·    I like under 220 total points at -105
