ALL-WOMEN, ALL-CANADIAN olympic semi-final in Tokyo?

The action is ramping up at Shiokaze Park, where reigning world champions Sarah Pavan and Melissa Humana-Paredes have still not dropped A SINGLE SET in their hunt for Olympic gold.

The beach volleyball duo made light work of Spain - to cruise into Tuesday’s quarter final against Australia.

And that could set up an ALL-CANADIAN SEMI-FINAL, if duo Heather Bansley and Brandie Wilkerson continue a run of good form and defeat Latvia to book THEIR PLACE in the penultimate round of the tournament.

With Canadian women athletes scooping soooo many medals in Tokyo, confidence will be sky high for both of these duos - so it’s two pics today:
