Hoop Talks event with Danny Green, Harrison Sanford & Fred VanVleet broadcast by CBC Sports

It has been several weeks since the Toronto Raptors lifted the Larry O’Brien Trophy as NBA Champions. It is safe to say that the hype around the city, however, has yet to have died down.

On June 22, Hoop Talks joined in the celebrations when we hosted a live event at The Queen Elizabeth Theatre with Danny Green from the Toronto Raptors as well as Harrison Sanford. They were joined by special guests Fred VanVleet and super fan Nav Bhatia.

More than 800 fans packed the iconic venue by the lakeshore to chat basketball and celebrate Green’s birthday. It was presented by Recharge with Milk who provided those fans with several different dairy-related products.

The event also featured a Hoop Talks panel with Blake Murphy of The Athletic, Doug Smith of the Toronto Star and Paul Jones of NBA TV Canada. It was hosted by Anson Henry of CBC Sports and Kelcey Wright Johnson.

It was broadcast in entirety on CBCSports.ca. Fans who were not able to attend the event or would like to watch it again can do so by clicking on the video below.
