– The Athletic Canadian Cross-Country Tour in partnership with Homestand Sports kicks off in Winnipeg September 22 –
Toronto (September 19, 2018) – Homestand Sports, producers of the popular Pitch Talks and Puck Talk live sports talks series, announced today an expanded strategic partnership with The Athletic – the acclaimed subscription-based sports media website featuring the industry’s top sports journalists.
With the new partnership, Homestand Sports becomes the exclusive live event provider for The Athletic in Canada. The partnership kicks off with Homestand Sports producing The Athletic’s first ever cross-country event series with stops in every Canadian NHL city. The national tour kicks off September 22 in Winnipeg.
The Toronto-based Homestand Sports has become one of Canada’s fastest growing sports media companies producing live events on intelligent and interactive conversations on sports. The new agreement ensures that The Athletic contributors will continue to be prominently featured at Homestand Sports events including its popular sports talk series – Pitch Talks, Puck Talks, Footy Talks and Hoop Talks – along with special viewing parties at marquee locations.
